CHALLENGE
Despite the availability of numerous therapeutic options, many patients do not reach recommended lipid targets. Gaps between clinical guidelines and everyday practice persist, alongside therapeutic inertia and high-risk patient categories that remain undertreated or inadequately identified.
APPROACH
A national multidisciplinary Advisory Board followed by four macro-regional Expert Meetings to identify unmet needs, contextualise them across different local settings and translate them into practical improvement actions, supported by graphic facilitation.
OUTPUT
Unmet need map and diagnostic-therapeutic gap analysis, profiling of undertreated patients, summary of regional differences and potential improvement actions, scientific report and visual materials.
OUTCOME
A shared understanding of the main challenges in dyslipidaemia management was built, integrating national perspectives with local specificities and translating clinical insights into priorities and operational proposals.
